As an Associate Visual Media Systems Specialist on the Visual Media Production team, we not only contribute to delivering world-class content but also innovate creative technology solutions for immersive experiences.
This is a full-time role and will report to the Visual Media Systems Manager.
What You Will Do
- Understand video editing workflows from acquisition to delivery, ensuring flawless operations
- Setup and support WindowsMacOS computer workstations and shared storage solutions to facilitate cohesive work environments
- Responsible for archiving media, documentation, and basic network troubleshooting
- Provide robust technical support for both Windows and MacOS desktop systems, NAS, RAID, and network servers
- Assist in motion graphics collaborative workflows with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, Maya, Unreal, and various motion graphics plugins
- Understand desktop/server hardware, professional video IO hardware, web streaming technologies, and codecs
- Stay updated on industry advancements and give insights to optimize processes and systems
- Knowledge experience with helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including basic knowledge of network environments, software updates, and general computer workstation fixes
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proving track record in video production or media production facilities.
- Knowledge of wired networking, LAN technologies, and familiarity with LAN/WAN support and maintenance
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IP Video Transport, including RTMP and NDI, using modern CDN
- Prior experience in live video production environments
- Any relevant technical certifications
- Proficiency in providing support for Unreal Engine environments
- Experience in developing and using Smartsheet for workflow optimization
- Ability to provide robust support for desktop systems
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
