Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and be proficient in litigating and negotiating cases.
As an Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in our firm, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of personal injury.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
- Assist senior attorneys with case preparation and trial strategy.
- Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
- Stay updated on changes in the law and legal trends.
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state
- 2+ years of experience in personal injury law or related field is a plus But not required.
- Proficiency in Westlaw.
- Strong legal drafting skills.
- Previous experience working in a law office setting.
- Spanish is a plus, but not required .

- Knowledge of personal injury law and litigation procedures
- Ability to negotiate settlements effectively
- Proficiency in using Westlaw for research.
