Full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant position in an out-patient, private practice setting treating infants and children up to the age of nine. The position is 40 hours/week with flexible scheduling. Our therapists work closely with other team members including speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, family resource coordinators and ancillary staff such as registered dieticians, vision and hearing specialists. We are seeking an OT with experience treating the birth to 3 population but will also consider new graduates needing mentorship. We have an experienced team of OTs who are able to provide supervision and mentorship as needed. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement occupational therapy programs that focus on evidence-based practice
Work directly with patients and families to maximize function
Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress with family and caregivers
Record and document patient care services
Collaborate with other team members for comprehensive care
Qualifications:
New grads accepted
Master's degree or higher for OT, AA for COTA from an accredited university
Must have or obtain license to practice as an OT in the state of Washington
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to build rapport with patients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
