Position Summary
We are seeking a responsible, highly efficient, and motivated Tax Manager to provide high net worth families, individuals, and their related entities with tax compliance and consulting. The position will manage our growing tax department focused on tax preparation, compliance and planning for the firm's wealth management clients. In this role, you will have the ability to lead the direction of the tax department.
Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual, trust, private foundation, and gift tax returns including preparation of a limited number of business returns
Prepare tax projections and estimate tax calculations for individuals
Develop and implement tax planning strategies for new and existing clients
Collaborate with financial advisors to provide integrated planning for clients
Lead client meetings, presenting deliverables to clients and providing a support tax advisory role for financial advisors
Oversee client tax compliance, planning and consulting projects by researching federal and state regulations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
EA or CPA designation required
3+ years of related industry experience in similar role within a wealth management or CPA firm
