Modeling & Simulation is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer to serve in a unique lead role in Naval Power (NP). In this role, you will participate in multi-disciplinary work across integrated product teams consisting of Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Signal Processing, Rocket Motor, Mechanical, and missile-and-sensor-level Performance Simulations. Our Performance Simulation teams provide, develop, and maintain high fidelity performance simulations, evaluate system performance, support new business initiatives and develop & implement technology roadmaps.
We are looking for a Simulation Lead for a program on the NP product line. The NP Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Lead (P4 - Principal Systems Engineer) will be guiding a Modeling, Simulation and Analysis team.

This is an On-Site Role in Tucson, Arizona.
What You will Do :
- You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS) product and analyze performance results
- Your responsibilities include the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Earned Value, performance results, and coordination with other multi-disciplinary teams.
- You will act as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for the team.
- You will create plans and measure, track and follow through with plans to meet contractual scope
- You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications You Must Have :
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and eight (8) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:
- Experience overseeing professional engineers and teams
- Experience defining plans for project implementation
- Experience working with different departments and geographic locations
- Experience presenting results to customers
- Experience applying Earned Value Metrics
- Experience developing and executing IMS
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer :
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Experience with hardware/software integration
- Experience developing and mentoring new employees
- Experience in Simulation Verification and Validation practices
- Experience with Simulation Architecture and Software in Simulation Architecture

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
