Printer and Endpoint Support Specialist
The Opportunity
Lesley University seeks a Printer and Endpoint Support Specialist to join the team. The role entails providing comprehensive technical support, training, and consultation services to ensure the smooth operation of printing and endpoint devices across the university campus including providing technical assistance and support to students, faculty, and staff members, serving as the subject matter expert for diagnosing and resolving printing issues, maintaining multifunction printers and print servers, troubleshooting desktop problems, and offering remote assistance. Collaborating with IT teams and vendors, you will ensure the smooth operation of print services and endpoint devices, while also reviewing and producing print and copy jobs, contributing to the university's knowledge base, and providing technology training and consultation to various departments. Flexibility in schedule, including evening and weekend support when needed, and a commitment to delivering courteous and respectful service to all stakeholders are essential.
This position requires 100% on-site work to ensure direct and immediate support to the university community.
Qualities and Capabilities
2 years of professional experience providing IT support.
1 year of experience supporting print management.
Experience using a ticketing system.
Excellent communication skills.
Must have experience using both Windows, MacOS, and iOS-based devices.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications.
Outstanding customer service orientation and ability to communicate clearly and effectively to end-users with a wide range of technological skill levels.
Superior troubleshooting skills, initiative, follow-through, and ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced, service-oriented office are essential.
