Associate Attorney - Plaintiff's Injury Litigation
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of a case including intake, discovery, hearings, and trials
- Be responsible for an independent docket
- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, and agreements
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Take and defend depositions
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with other attorneys and paralegals on case preparation
Qualifications:
- Admission to the State Bar of New Mexico
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in litigation and negotiation is preferred but not required
