Indiana Math and Science Academy North is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic Science teacher to become part of a team of outstanding educators. The position involves collaboration with the other teachers within the assigned grade level and a commitment to student achievement.
A science teacher follows the curriculum established, which is designed to meet the state's core educational standards. The Algebra teacher will also be responsible for evaluating student data to plan instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners. Differentiated instruction and flexible grouping are an integral part of the expectations for this position. The teacher will be responsible for maintaining individualized communication with parents and for conducting parent-teacher conferences at least four times a year to ensure the highest level of service to our students.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in mathematics, Master's degree preferred but not required.
Valid Indiana Teaching License
Deep and thorough knowledge of the subject matter.
Experience using online resources and other technologies to enhance learning.
Experience within an educational and/or independent school environment.
