A small work-life balanced law firm located in Tacoma, Washington is seeking to add an Associate Attorney to join our Workers Compensation/Social Security team. This is a full-time on-site role. Our firm provides extensive paralegal support, a team environment and a 37.5 hour work week.
This is a litigation position which does require the ability to work independently and the ability to meet deadlines. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal representation to clients in a variety of areas, including but not limited to workers compensation and social security disability. The Associate Attorney will attend administrative hearings at the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review for Social Security disability claims, and at the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals for Workers Compensation claims. In addition to administrative hearings, the Associate Attorney will also handle superior court trials, client meetings, draft documents, and conduct legal research.
Qualifications
- Strong research skills with experience using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Proficient in legal drafting and conducting legal research
- Familiarity with Workers' compensation law and legal administrative tasks
- Excellent writing skills and ability to work in a fast-paced law office environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
