Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain after an injury or illness. You will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals of all ages. This position is based in a hospital setting and requires knowledge of medical terminology and patient care.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical condition and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques
- Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and managing their condition
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to target specific areas of concern
- Administer trigger point therapy to relieve muscle tension and improve mobility
- Specialize in pediatric physical therapy to address the unique needs of children
Skills:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Excellent patient care skills, including empathy, active listening, and clear communication
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques
- Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress
