Our orthopedic specialist has roots in our community and with advanced fellowship training and expertise across a wide range of subspecialties.
In addition, Center for Specialty Care also offers diagnostic services, as well as an on-site SurgiCenter, Physical Therapy, Primary Care and Ageless Health.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients recover from injuries and improve their overall physical well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in providing treatment to patients
- Implement therapeutic exercise programs as directed by the supervising therapist
- Monitor and report patient progress to the therapist
- Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercises
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience working with geriatric patients is preferred
- Familiarity with orthopedics, acute care, and inpatient settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
