Position: Pediatric Endocrinologist Location: North Carolina Requirements: Must have NC license and DEA Board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology Job Details: Call Coverage: Mostly phone calls (mommy clinic calls + hospital/ER phone calls) Unrestricted home call Need to come in only for new diabetic consults (typically a 48-hour admission, requiring at least one visit to meet the family and arrange follow-up) Hospitalists admit and manage most patients with phone call support Clinic Coverage: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday 24-hour call coverage from Monday through Sunday EMR System: Cerner PowerChart Support Staff: 1 Registered Nurse (RN) 1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 1 Medical Assistant (MA) 1 Referral Coordinator/Scheduler Centralized registration team Join our dedicated team and provide exceptional care to our pediatric patients.
