CS&S Margins performs intermediate and complex functions related to risk management and margin inquiries. The Trade Risk Resolution Manager role is responsible for providing associate and client service for point of contact resolution. The position requires subject matter expertise in RegT margin related to equities & options as well as a detailed understanding of portfolio margining and futures margining (SPAN). Additionally, this role will assist in resolving trade/order disputes related to Trade Support Group functions.
- Resolve margin-related issues with both internal and external clients
- Manage margin calls, resolution of debit balances and short positions
- Explain and apply industry rules, regulations, and policies
- Service associates by assessing potential risk situations at point of contact
- Take inbound telephone calls or chats from internal associates, warm transfers for external clients, and make outbound calls as appropriate
- Educate associates and clients around regulations and restrictions
- Explain financial reasoning behind actions taken to clients of varying market knowledge/expertise
- Handle escalations related to margin sell-outs, margin interest, and exceptions to pattern day trader, etc
- Provide support to TSG for trade disputes and error resolution
- Deliver exceptional client experiences and create solutions to client irritants
What you have
- Series 7 & 63 or 66 required
- Series 9 & 10 or Series 24 & 4 highly preferred or must obtain through a condition of employment
- 4+ years related industry experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong reconciliation skills and diligence in researching problem accounts
- Interested individuals should have a basic working knowledge of margin rules
- Solid knowledge of balance, position, and transaction systems
- Candidates must be flexible and comfortable with changing work duties
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environments
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are critical
- Ability to deliver complex information while maintaining a positive client experience
- Work well in a collaborative team environment
- 3+ years trading experience preferred
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
