Major Functions
The primary role of this position is to develop the demand mix by being provided a given time horizon and unit volume. This position will support the Integrated Business Planning process through the development and inputting of the monthly Demand data using historical trend analysis and specific Marketing inputs both internal and external.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for :
Develop a demand mix plan for the assigned Ditch Witch Division product line
Apply continuous improvement tools and technique to improve demand mix plan
Using analysis, compile all data pertinent to creating the demand mix plan; including monitoring evaluating, and analyzing trends
Organize, manage and achieve consensus for the assigned product portfolio demand mix plan through a collaborative process that may involve product managers, sales, marketing, and/or operations team members
Update documentation and standard operating procedures as needed
Design, generate, and maintain appropriate bias and accuracy reports and recommend corrective action for their product portfolio
Prepare decision support data and recommendations for assigned portfolio
Serve as product mix expert on cross functional project teams as needed
Provide direction, guidance, and/or training to less experienced team members
Document assumptions underlying the plan and highlight key changes monthly
Ad hoc projects as needed

What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Demand Planner I:
Bachelor's degree (prefer Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or Business).
Minimal prior experience, 0-3 years. Some experience with analyzing data in other capacities that can be applied to this role, this includes other analysis roles that are not connected to demand planning specifically.
Knowledge of Ditch Witch Division products and customers is highly desirable
Supply chain experience, analysis skills or previous planning role is desired
Strong computer competency in MS Office applications; SAP experience is a plus
Ability to learn and apply new software and web-based applications
Organized and proactive with demonstrated ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
Demand Planner II:
Meets all the requirements of Demand Planner I along with:
Minimum 3 years of relatable experience in demand planning, including use of demand planning software. Capable in data management and analysis in Excel through practical experience using Excel to create and manage data.
Strong leadership, superior communication, and quantitative/qualitative analysis skills
Strong computer competency in Microsoft Office products
Strong business experience with SAP and Power BI
Excellent interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross functional team environments
