QUALIFICATIONS: -Any State active and unrestricted license accepted -All CRNAs shall have and maintain current certification in BCLS and ACLS(AHA or American Red Cross)- graduate of an approved anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetist Education Program Schools or its predecessors- Any HCP who is a foreign medical graduate must have passed the Educational Commission Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG) test as given by the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Students Experience: - Must have experience in all types of anesthesia utilized in the performance of surgical anesthesia to includebut not limited to general endotracheal, subarachnoid and epidural blocks. Experience in the placement of centralvenous catheters, arterial lines, and regional anesthetic techniques is preferred at the discretion of the Dept ofAnesthesia.- Must have current experience in the past year (three months or more in the last 12 months) providing epiduralAnesthesia- Must have experience with providing anesthesia care to complex high acuity patients with critical illnessesand traumatic injuries. High-risk obstetrical anesthesia experience is preferred. HOURS OF PERFORMANCE: - CRNA will be required to provide 1,920 regular work hours over a 12-month(Approximately 40 Hrs/Week)
