The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, taxation, and financial planning. As a CPA/Enrolled Agent, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax and financial services to our clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maximizing their financial efficiency. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough reviews of client financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and tax documents.
Preparing and filing accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
Providing expert tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimizing liabilities.
Responding to tax notices and inquiries from regulatory authorities on behalf of clients.
Assisting clients with tax audits and representing them before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or other tax authorities.
Conducting financial analyses and creating strategic financial plans to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals.
Advising clients on various financial matters, including investments, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Staying up-to-date on changes to tax laws and regulations, and communicating these changes to clients and colleagues.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and earning their trust and loyalty.
Collaborating with other team members, including attorneys and financial advisors, to deliver comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent designation required.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of insert number years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and tax preparation software (e.g., QuickBooks, ProSystem fx Tax).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Strong commitment to client service and ethical conduct.
Continuing education in accounting and tax law required to maintain licensure and stay current in the field.
