What You Will DoThe Product Design Coordinator role supports the Product Design team in handling the product development process through the Online Product Approval (OPA) system, which involves the routing and processing of product approvals and coordinating communication with internal and external partners!
The role also requires participation in internal and external meetings and providing general administrative support to the Product Design team.
On a daily basis, you will:
- Manage the OPA folders and corresponding submissions assigned to the PD team members and route and process items in a timely manner
- Initiate OPA onboarding, maintain database, and monitor contracts and amendments for vendors/licensees
- Provide user support and any additional/new training for OPA and asset-related accounts such as BOX
- Manage asset requests and general communication to vendors/licensees regarding updates
- Process incoming samples (opening boxes, keeping records of items received & delivering to the team)
- Manage all outgoing shipments, maintaining mailing lists and providing tracking information
- Managing records/keeping notes of key stakeholder meetings
- File samples when required and assist in the maintenance of product storage
- Process shipping invoices and other invoices as needed
- Assist with scheduling on-site and off-site vendor and licensee meetings and oversee logistics for large-scale events
- Create and review a wide variety of documents such as organization lists, tracking forms, and various confidential documents
- Coordinate and compile merchandising requests from various internal teams and Licensee partners
- Provide additional tactical support for the Product Design teams as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills- Organized with data and projects for the Product Design team
- Ability to understand and convey creative and constructive feedback
- Ability to build presentations in PowerPoint or similar software
- Proactive in reacting to and resolving the day-to-day needs of the PD team and Licensee partners
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent administrative using software such as Word, Excel, or any project/organization software
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of the Toy industry preferred
- Project Management or Database software
Education- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $52,400 to $70,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
