_Creative Achievement Academy_ is a small nonprofit K-12 school serving students with disabilities since 1979. We take pride in providing a nurturing environment where students receive an equal chance and a sense of belonging and acceptance. The qualified candidate must be able to assist with classroom management and support each student's program, tailored to his/her individual needs. The position begins July 5, 2023. Responsibilities:
Work with a team to address special needs of students.
Be able to work independently with students.
Gather and document student's information.
Teach students in the classroom.
Keep detailed records of the student's progress.
Have knowledge of special needs that can be accommodated in the classroom.
Have basic understanding of academic standards for their level of certification.
