Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our behavioral health team. The Licensed Therapist will provide professional therapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. This position plays a critical role in supporting clients through their mental health journeys, helping them to develop coping strategies, and improve their emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, skilled in various therapeutic techniques, and committed to providing high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
Therapeutic Services:
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health issues.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their therapeutic objectives.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Assist clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms and life skills.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Master s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a therapist (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of Delaware.
- Previous experience in providing therapy or counseling services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass employment screenings, including FBI clearance if applicable.
