Job Responsibilities:
- Transfer pallets from production to the banding area for banding pallets
- Safe, ongoing use of company fork truck
- Visually inspecting in process and finished chambers and pallets
- Trim any flash left by operators
- Build pallets and stage needed materials for operators and techs
- Band, weigh and transfer rejected parts
- Assist operators by pulling parts from molds, inspecting, trimming, counting and stacking product, etc.
- Breakout assigned machines
- Maintaining housekeeping standards and assist in general cleanup of plant and machines
- Teamwork and good communication with operators and leadership
- Operate machines and move between buildings as labor needs dictate
Qualifications:
- Experience operating a fork truck in a busy warehouse environment preferred
- Material handling and experience meeting production needs preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow instructions, work as a team and adhere to safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
