We are on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Northeast Production Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage mobile railcar repair crews across multiple locations, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Interact directly with customers to address concerns and deliver effective solutions.
- Procure and manage parts post-inspection to ensure timely availability.
- Organize and maintain an efficient parts inventory system.
- Schedule and coordinate mobile service jobs to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a team of employees to ensure optimal performance.
- Travel up to 60% of the time to various job sites and customer locations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in railcar repair and inspection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to document inspection findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Some office / computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Exhibit a willingness to engage in hands-on tasks as necessary.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time to meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina and agility to perform inspections in rail yards or manufacturing facilities, as well as the ability to sit at a desk for extended periods. Stand, walk, talk, write, and work with hands in both office and field environments.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver's license.
Salary is Depending on Experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. The employee may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts while on the field site.
