Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance student engagement and understanding
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and exams
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in educational practices
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license in the subject area
- Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Knowledge of education administration and policies
- Strong content knowledge in the subject area(s) being taught (e.g., Cell Biology, Organic Chemistry)
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and platforms
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with special education needs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience in scientific research or proofreading research papers is a plus
