We are More of an X man of law firms. Each employee is vital and unique in their skills which when combined strengthens the team. The four lawyers in the firm hustle to keep the cakes coming and the clients coming back. This position would be in our litigation branch assisting Homeowners Associations in collecting from delinquent homeowners. This position is hybrid you will be working from home but required to appear at court hearings in Beaufort, Charleston, Jasper and Colleton Counties.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the South Carolina bar and in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing HOA law
- Strong knowledge of foreclosure and debt collection laws, regulations, and industry practices
- Proficiency in legal drafting and research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
