The Firm was founded 43 years ago, and has grown in servicing clients in multiple practice areas including: employment practices representing employers; complex civil/business litigation; mergers and acquisitions; corporate formation and restructuring; commercial real estate transactions and commercial leasing; estate planning; probate and trust administration; probate and trust litigation; and conservatorships.
As Ferruzzo continues to grow and expand, we are looking for a Litigation Attorney to grow with us and to work along side a collaborative, team-oriented group of Attorneys in our Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have eight (8) to twelve (12) years of litigation experience. We are looking for candidates with excellent research, drafting and analytical skills, and with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates should be well versed in drafting petitions and responsive pleadings, discovery practice (including depositions), and have experience making court appearances. This position involves working under the guidance of more senior attorneys in our Litigation Practice Group from inception through trial. Must be self-motivated, inspire client confidence and have excellent academic credentials. The candidate must be client service focused, have an excellent work ethic, impeccable attention to detail, a professional demeanor, and exemplify excellent written, verbal and research skills. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Lexis/Nexis is required.
