MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, is proud to be the provider of comprehensive health services and staffing solutions to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Danville State Hospital located in Danville, Pennsylvania.
Pay Range $32-$34/hour
The Respiratory Therapist (RT) is responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and care for patients with breathing disorders. The RT assumes primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, initiates, and conducts therapeutic procedures in a correctional setting.
- Associate's degree or bachelor s degree from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program required
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice required
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting required
- Knowledge of practices, standards, techniques, and tools/equipment applicable to basic and advanced respiratory patient care, including critical care, oxygen therapy, home ventilator management, chest physiotherapy, spirometry, aerosol therapy, EKGs, arterial blood gas analysis, patient assessment, and airway management.
Available Shift: Per Diem; hours may vary
