Plans, directs, and is accountable for all activities in the design, development, and implementation of displays, exhibits, and interior environments for each assigned project for our clients. Oversees projects to ensure that the goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the client about given project(s) and will meet with the client as determined by the complexity and needs of the project.
- Manages all aspects of the project through ECI's ERP system and PM management programs.
- Develop and define the project scope of work and provide oversight to ensure that all project elements meet the specifications' requirements.
- Develops and reviews cost estimates and proposals based on design/concept, scope of work, given client target budget, and ECI margin expectations.
- Review cost estimates against the final project scope to confirm labor hour scheduling, subcontractor roles, and costs, material costs and availability, site-specific requirements, and allotment of available resources to various project phases.
- Establishes production time schedules, lead times, material/subcontractor scheduling, and staffing for each project phase and arranges for project personnel recruitment or assignment.
- Participates with the creative team on concept development, budget development, potential materials, and approximate project timeline development.
- Works with the Graphics Supervisor for content development and assigns graphic production and time schedules.
- Works with the Production Supervisor to confirm the production scope, coordinate installation labor and schedules, and solve fabrication problems in construction, subcontractors, materials, and time.
- Coordinates fabrication details with the Detailing Supervisor and assigned detailer.
- Directs and coordinates the activities of assigned project personnel and subcontractors to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
- Monitors all project accounting tasks and assigns tasks per departmental standard operation procedures.
- Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modified schedules or plans as required.
- As needed, prepare regular project reports for management, account executives, and clients.
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve issues.
- Ensures that proper ECI processes are followed on each project.
- Follows up with prospective clients by forwarding contact information to appropriate ECI personnel.
- Travels to project sites, meetings, or industry events as required.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and ability.
Education and/or Experience: Associate degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Building Construction, or equivalent from a technical school; ten (10) to fifteen (15) years related experience in managing museum fabrication and permanent interior/retail build-out fabrication projects; specific experience with developing Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs), high-end retail, and/or branded environments is a plus.

- Computer skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be fluent in Microsoft 365.
- Mathematical Skills—Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, as well as plane and solid geometry and trigonometry fundamentals. Applying fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sit for long periods and work at a computer. During a project installation, the employee may occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
