Job Overview
Renewal by Andersen has an immediate opening for a reliable, part-time Junior Brand Ambassador to join our Events team. As a Junior Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for driving lead generation and brand awareness through on-site, face-to-face interaction with prospective customers. Junior Brand Ambassadors are liaisons between our company and the homeowner. You will provide valuable information about products and services to homeowners. The goal of each interaction is to use the script and methodology taught to you to produce qualified leads in the form of in-home consultation appointments for our design consultants.
Successful candidates chosen for this position will need to feel comfortable speaking with prospective customers at festivals, home shows, and fairs located in and around the greater Salt Lake City Area. The more appointments you make, the more leads you generate, the more cash in your pocket!!! Just one week of training and you'll be out making $$$$
Position Type: Part-time, non-benefited, non-exempt, at-will position.
Salary: Base pay starts at $16 per hour with paid training, and the opportunity to be promoted to a senior ambassador. Average $18-$25 per hour with generous commission structure. Pay is subject to fluctuation based on seasonal demands and performance.
Schedule: 4–6-hour shifts. Must be available to work Morning, Afternoon, and Evening shifts. Primarily working weekends with some weekday shifts. Some travel may be required. Holiday shifts as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify to set appointments with prospective homeowners.
- Able to retain and effectively communicate key brand info and brand points to educate consumers about our product.
- Perform set up, execution, break down of set up, and take down of all company display items.
- Provide the Event manager with consumer feedback and info for recaps.
- Maintain proper channels of communication.
- Must meet an average lead requirement of 3.6 hours per demo (HPD).
- Must be able to work at least 7 Events (Festivals, Home Shows, Fairs, Retail, etc.) per month.
- Monitor and maintain materials in event totes prior to each set up.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 18 years or older.
- Reliable vehicle to commute to assigned work locations (must have current auto insurance policy and pass an MVR check).
- Ability to fit event set-up items in said vehicle for scheduled shifts.
- Ability to arrive for scheduled shifts in a timely manner.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable smartphone/data plan.
- Clear background check.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Previously sales experience is a plus!
- Can lift 50+ pounds with or without accommodation.
- Basic computer skills.
Working Conditions:
- Work in various indoor and outdoor locations.
- Work in varying weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures.
- Work in either very bright or very low light.
- Work or be exposed to continuous sounds or noise levels.
- Work with a group, as part of a team, or individually managing an event.
- Work near other people but usually have a few feet of space separating them from coworkers.
- Work long hours at Events communicating with coworkers and networking with customers at registration tables or by manning a booth.
- Work with software to organize leads, scheduling, and reporting.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to move, bend and position oneself to set up a marketing booth.
- Able to push, pull and reach to move and/or lift 50 pounds + of equipment at event sites.
- Able to communicate, express, or exchange ideas by means of spoken word.
- Able to understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
- Able to be stationary for extended periods of time (6-8 hours).
- Able to seize, hold, grasp, turn, various product tools, marketing materials & equipment.
- Able to transit to various work locations reliably as required.
- Able to work indoors or outdoors.
Supplemental Information:
- Commission eligible.
- Mileage reimbursement.
- Per Diem for extended travel.
- Must be able to meet at our Salt Lake City office for staff meetings, communication, and other duties as necessary.
- Must be able to travel, if necessary for Event.
