Job description
$5000 sign on bonus, $10,000 Relocation Bonus! The sonographer will be performing diagnostic venous reflux exams, DVT exams, post treatment vein exams, vein mapping, and lower extremity arterial ultrasounds. Occasional carotid ultrasounds will be performed. Other clinic duties as needed to help clinic run smoothly. Training in reflux sonography is provided.
This position is Mon-Thursday, No weekend or evening hours!
This is a unique role functioning as both a clinician and a sonographer. In the role of clinician, the sonographer will correlate symptoms with the ultrasound findings and provide education on vein conditions.
Communication skills are of paramount importance since this position will require that the sonographer convey results of the preliminary ultrasound findings to the patient at the time of the exam and educate the patients about vein conditions and their treatment. Staff enjoy interacting with very satisfied patients who experience great symptom relief after treatments. An additional satisfying element of this position is the opportunity to develop ongoing relationships with the patients as we follow them throughout their treatments.
