WSH Management is currently recruiting for a Social Service Coordinator for Reflections at Barbara Ann/Sepulveda.

Job Duties
The Social Services Coordinator will perform assessments for our residents who are seeking social services, such as subsidized housing, medical care, or employment assistance.
- Develop and maintain healthy and productive professional helping relationships with all residents to ensure that:
- Residents and their guests conduct themselves appropriately and in a manner that promotes mutual respect among property management staff and resident neighbors and promotes and maintains harmony in the community.
- Residents actively participate in voluntary services by attending meetings and scheduled appointments.
- Social service coordinator, promptly and appropriately addressed with referral services.
- Help recruit and enroll applicants, provide them with direction to community resources.
- Conduct regular meetings with property management staff to establish and continuously improve standard policies and procedures for effectively addressing resident and property issues and concerns. As needed, and via collaboration with property management, and maintenance, and serving residents, develops, documents and coordinates collaborative plans for addressing the specialized needs of those residents experiencing significant challenges to in life.
Qualifications
While we are proud to offer on-the-job training for all positions, we prefer you to start with the following experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in social work, behavioral health or related field, or 2 – 3 years related experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years working in programs serving homeless or other special needs populations.
- Experience working in affordable senior housing or other residential setting a plus.
- A personal commitment to the mission of affordable senior housing.
- Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communications skills.
- De-escalation, conflict resolution, and crisis response and management skills.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel Spreadsheets, Publisher, and Yardi or comparable property management software.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record and provide proof of vehicle insurance.
- Candidate will be required to pass a background and drug screening (A conviction will not necessarily disqualify you from employment with WSH Management).
