Overview:
We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our medical team using brand new state of the art equipment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various imaging techniques and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using our Konica Minolta Straight Arm Digital Radiography X-ray System
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment with precision and care
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze images and provide accurate diagnostic evaluations
- Maintain detailed patient records and uphold confidentiality standards
Requirements:
- Current Maine Radiologic Technology license
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques including X-ray
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in Urgent Care setting is a plus
License/Certification:
Maine Radiologic Technology
BLS Certification (Preferred)
ARRT Certification (Preferred)
