About the Role & Team:Are you interested in transforming kids' lives with Disney Imagination Campus Groups Sales team? You will manage and grow the largest third-party account for Disney Imagination Campus, focused on delivering national and international school spirit events at the Walt Disney World Resort, including cheer, dance, and pep band competitions.
As a Senior Sales Manager with The Walt Disney Company, you will work closely with the client’s senior leadership team, in managing the overall contract details and events. You will focus on commercial growth, business development, in addition to strategically working with other internal teams on event planning and execution, related to room night management, theme park ticket sales, annual pricing, and sponsorship approvals. This is a Full-Time position.
What You Will Do:Solely manage multi-layered sophisticated account with a commercial mentality for Disney Imagination Campus, insuring financial growth and optimization, year-over-year
Know, understand, manage, and implement a sophisticated multi-year agreement, ensuring client and all internal partners are adhering to legal expectations and accountabilities
Fully understand nuances of client’s history with Disney, and continue to build on their legacy, while evolving and innovating for the future
Initiate and manage all room blocks, ticket sales, and event space, communicating effectively and efficiently with client and internal partners
Ensure accurate and timely communication and follow up with client, as well as internal partners
Partner with client in securing all approvals for third-party sponsorships and alliances for their events
Understand trends and behaviors of client’s business and anticipate needs for mitigation
In partnership with client, develop and implement strategic plans to continue to drive revenue, including optimizing marketing exposure
Ensure strong, positive relationships are built and cultivated with client and their teams, ensuring happiness throughout the year
Ensure strong, positive relationships are built and cultivated with multiple internal lines of business, key to the success of the event(s) and execution
Identify new growth opportunities, and work with client to bring ideas to full implementation in driving incremental revenue
Negotiate annual contractual amendments that fairly meet the needs of the client and Disney Imagination Campus
Develop creative solutions for challenges that may impact client’s business or the Walt Disney World Resort
Proficient in working with internal systems to maintain accurate records, sales activity, managing space, rooms, tickets
Have vast knowledge in Disney products and services
With integrity, be accountable for personal sales goals, ensuring accuracy in recording
Know and adhere to all Disney company polices and guidelines
Represent the Disney brand in all internal and external client interactions
Required Qualifications & Skills:At least 5 years of Sales / Account Management experience or equivalent
Ability to fully understand client needs, and possess a problem-solving attitude to identify solutions
Proven client management and relationship building abilities with a commercial mentality
Knowledge in student travel industry, Cheer and Dance competitions, or relative experience
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills that will support the client and Disney
Social and networking skills and awareness of cultural sensitivity/diversity
Creativity to find solutions in new ways and enhance the client experiences
