Job Summary
Utilizes practice judgment and expertise to influence professional role competence and growth of learners with a desired outcome of optimizing patient care and outcomes and improving population health; facilitates nursing staff ongoing learning and role competence and growth; serves as a leader, change agent, mentor, learning facilitator, champion of inquiry, advocate for Nursing Professional Development (NPD), and partner for practice transitions.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- 2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
- NPD Certification within 2 years preferred.
Work Schedule
- Day Shift: Monday-Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
