Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist , you will work closely with our health care team which is comprised of an orthopedic surgeon, two orthopedic PA-C and physical therapy clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your role will involve implementation of treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing hands-on therapy to help patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.
Duties:
- Evaluating patients' conditions and developing individualized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Assist with transferring and positioning patients to ensure their safety and comfort during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Doctorate or Master's level degrees from a credentialed Physical Therapist program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in occupational health or acute care settings is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
