Lutheran Hospice is one of the few hospices in Colorado to be continually accredited by The Joint Commission, the Gold Standard by which healthcare quality is measured in the U.S. We offer a full spectrum of services, including home hospice, inpatient hospice and palliative care in the home. Our comprehensive exemplary services also include in-home delivery of medicine, medical equipment, supplies, oxygen, therapies, lab work and other services related to the terminal diagnosis.
Your day.
As a Physician in Hospice and Palliative Care you'll build your patient panel, and provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll collaborate with knowledgeable Physicians, several Medical Assistants, and PSRs.
Multiple practice venue options: inpatient hospice unit, inpatient hospital palliative care consultative service, palliative care at home, palliative care in ambulatory clinic, home hospice (IDT, home visits/F2F visits, team physician), overnight call off-site.
This is a PRN position only
Your experience.
We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
- Fellowship trained and Board Certified in Hospice/Palliative Care, required
- Have or able to obtain a CO Physician license, required
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a defined Palliative Care or Hospice setting, strongly preferred
- Experience with pain management a plus
- Bi-Lingual, strongly preferred
