Broadband Network Technician I, II or III

The Broadband Network Technician I, II, or III is responsible for detecting, troubleshooting and resolving system outages for data, video, and telephone. This role will be responsible for emergency restoration of coax, underground cable, maintenance of power supply, leakage and splicing. The BNT I is required to maintain documentation as needed. This role participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

A Day in the Life of the Broadband Technician:
- Detect, troubleshoot and resolve system outages
- Emergency coax restoration
- Underground cable
- Maintenance (power supply, actives)
- Leakage
- Splicing
- Documentation
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2+ years telecom technician preferred
- Competencies: Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license; Customer Service, Communication (verbal, written), Basic Computer Skills; Aptitude to learn to skills; Problem solving; Time Management; Teamwork; Working alone; Ability to read and interpret maps; Bucket Certified; Ohm's; Understand the Outside Plant
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ladder; Hand or Power Tools; Customer Service; Communication (verbal, written); Basic Computer Skills; Aptitude to learn to skills; Problem solving; Time Management; Teamwork; Working alone
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. The base salary range in Washington for this position, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable, is:
- Broadband Network Technician I - $23.15 - $32.41 per hour
- Broadband Network Technician II - $24.31 - $34.03 per hour
- Broadband Network Technician III - $25.53 - $35.74 per hour
