OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
Provides network support, connectivity, and user training for Modern Office Methods' clients who have purchased network output devices by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work with sales representative to ensure a satisfactory implementation/training plan for each client. Communicate results of call including any problems, issues, etc. to sales rep.
- Ensure client satisfaction through end-user instruction on the products in conjunction with the marketing support rep.
- Enable as many of the client’s staff as possible to participate in the benefits of the digital solution. As MOMs connected output device is placed on network, our goal is to capture as much output as possible. Work with client to ensure that the maximum number of print drivers are loaded, that as many computers as possible have the MOM product as the default printer, etc. This will ensure the client receives the maximum cost savings for their company.
- Maintain exceptional client communication by regular follow-up after installation.
- Provide technical assistance on service calls when requested by field service engineers.
- Function as “ go-to “ person as requested by sales manager to spearhead trouble-shooting and/or investigation of new product offerings and/or accessories.
- Assembles and configures network components and associated services. Installs and test necessary software and hardware.
- Provides Modern Office Method’s clients with technical expertise and assistance as digital solutions are implemented.
- Functions as a consultant to our clients, providing them with the technical direction needed. Must lead the client through difficult decisions.
- Seeks out opportunities for the network group during client installation/training appointments.
- Sets up and maintains basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware, and provides assistance to the network administrator.
- Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
- Assist in sales calls as needed.
- Work with client trainer in mentoring capacity to increase his/her familiarity with digital technology.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibility.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position with expected hours of work between Monday and Friday.
TRAVEL
This position requires frequent travel between company branches and customer sites.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school or equivalent
- Customer service: 2 years
