JOB SUMMARY
Under Medical direction, assess, treats disabilities, injuries and diseases of patients through the use of massage, exercises and effective properties of water, heat light rays and electricity. Provides care to and understands and reacts effectively to the unique needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Assists other personnel when needed. Performs other tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy. Licensed or license eligible as a physical therapist in the state of Montana. Current CPR certification.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Thorough knowledge of the principles and methods of physical therapy and the objectives of physical therapy treatment. Ability to assess, plan and carry out therapy for individual patients. Knowledge of orthopedic appliances, their use and care, and other special equipment. Ensures that equipment is operational and clean.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS: Risk of exposure to communicable diseases. Works with residents who are confused and have decreased mobility. Risks include injury from lifting patients or operating equipment.
WORK CONTACT GROUP: Patients, families, visitors, nursing personnel, and the general public.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to bend, stoop, push and pull. Lifting a minimum of 25 pounds may be required. Intermittent sitting, standing and walking.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
