Hospital is now offering charge pay, which includes a bill rate bump per hour. Local rate rule: local candidates residing in the state of Indiana will be accepted at the local rate.
Key Requirements - MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS. Travelers must be able to work 50% of the weekends in their contract.
- Travel nurses must agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
- Traveler must have an IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
- Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
Additional Information - Call-Ins: If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, they are expected to make up the day during the pay period if a 0.9 FTE, or the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract for 0.9 and 1.2 FTE.
- Charge Coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
- Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS
- Skillset Requirements: Minimum 3 Years Experience, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Level 1 Trauma Experience, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, ICP, and IV Starts
- Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed
- Staffing Ratios: 1:2-3
