The Nurse Practitioner in the MFCC will be responsible for:- Providing and coordinating care for pregnant women carrying a fetus with a congenital anomaly from prenatal evaluation through delivery
- Intake and coordination of fetal surgical consults into the program
- Conducting histories, physicals, and obstetric exams on surgical patients
- Facilitation of diagnostic studies, lab draws, lab evaluation and interpretation, and prescribing appropriate medications to the MFCC patient.
- Counseling and education of parents in consultation with various BCH pediatric specialists and referring obstetricians
- Provide perioperative support for fetal surgery patients including day of procedure patient assessment, OR and delivery support, PACU support & monitoring, rounding on inpatients, facilitating patient discharges
- Conduct peer to peer reviews and write LOMN for intervention patients
To qualify, you must have:- Master's in Nursing and a valid MA NP license
- 4 years experience as an FNP or WHNP preferred (minimum of 2 years)
- Past obstetrics/labor and delivery/postpartum experience required
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
