Description:
Essential Job Duties:
Steel Warehouse has an exciting position for a Maintenance Mechanic.
· Must be able to work first or second shift and overtime as required.
· Candidates must be able to perform a range of maintenance, fabrication and general repair related tasks on any/all corporate steel processing equipment.
· Operating overhead cranes and forklifts
· Will be able to draw rough drafts from damaged or broken parts
Requirements:
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions.
· Candidates must have own toolbox and mechanic tools.
· Understanding and capable of reading blueprints
· Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Mechanical mathematics experience
· Complete understanding of fabrication and machine maintenance
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Maintenance Machinist Journeyman's card is preferred but not required with proof of prior experience.
