ResponsibilitiesThis position will focus on the development of content by editing existing content and writing new content that reflects Publishing's strategic goals in all markets, including consumer, professional (treatment centers, K-12 educational settings, and correctional facilities), and trade. This position will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and execution of product development projects.
- Develop high-quality content, products, series, and ancillary extensions.
- Conduct ongoing product research for trends, on a broad level, and products, on a focused level.
- Oversee various administrative details for the editorial department, including contracts, profit and loss statements, copyrights, permissions, and author-related issues.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of content development experience (in-house, freelance, or a mix of both), with the ability to write and edit content for style, voice, usability, and age-appropriateness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially expressing difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing products specific to Hazelden Betty Ford's markets
- Instructional design experience
- Familiarity with CMOS style
- Experience developing products and services for digital delivery
- Prior nonprofit experience
Compensation details: 4 Yearly Salary
