Attendance Administrator
Job Summary:
This position will have overall responsibility for administering the attendance policy at the plant by utilizing the tracking system, making corrections, and guiding supervisors through the
attendance process.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
• Daily coding of HR-related absences, such as leaves of absence, FMLA/STD, doctor’s notes, etc.
• Make corrections to attendance data as needed
• Print, review, and issue attendance warnings to supervisors/managers
• Review termination warnings for accuracy prior to issuing to supervisors/managers
• Provide various reports to HR and management
• Process perfect attendance credits for Butterball rewards
• Maintain warnings database by closing warnings upon completion and following up on
outstanding warnings as needed
• Provide policy guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers
• Responsible for managing all types of leaves of absences, LOA, FMLA, STD, etc.
• Tracking all the leaves and maintaining the files while employees are on leave until the
employee has returned to work.
• Provide support to HR for various projects, functions, and activities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Accurate, efficient, and timely execution of tasks
• Ability to use sound judgment and discretion while maintaining the highest level of
confidentiality
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and relationship management skills; works effectively with all
personalities
• Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs
• Proficient with various MS applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Outlook
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with
front-line leaders and employees
• Detail oriented and organized
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Bilingual (English / Spanish), a plus
Education & Experience:
• 1 year prior administrative or policy interpretation experience.
• Associate degree or combination of work and/or educational experience.
• Prior food processing or manufacturing experience preferred.
