Resume- Ensure resume information is accurate (there s been an increase in inaccurate information sent). > MUST INCLUDE: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, and trauma level (if applicable) for each hospital. > Explain any employment gaps upon submission and include in attached profile/resume. Certifications- Make sure certs are accurate and up to date.License- Active and in hand - AZ or Compact- Ensure it's accurateNURSE PATIENT RATIOS: DAYS 1:5-6 NIGHTS 1:6-7- # of Beds: 15- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS-preferred.- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiac rule out, low heart score, low level surgical, abd pain.- Experience: Same as med surg. Mostly medical- Pneumonia, COPD, Radiation pts, AKI, occasional lap chole, appy, etc. - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift: Charge nurse is shared with the ED. Have a 24/7 midlevel assigned to this unit in the unit. - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: PCA. 2 per shift.- Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit: Yes tele on the unit. RN needs to read, do have centralized monitoring.- Shifts & Scheduling: 6:45-7:15.- Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts in 4 week period.- Holiday Requirement: 2 of 5 holidays (this counts the eves).- Floating Requirements: Med Surg towers.- Scrub Color: Navy Blue.- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: One NEO, one day clinical/EPIC, one day on floor. Cancellation may cancel hours equivalent to the weekly guaranteed hours for the assignment 36, 40, or 48 for a 13 week assignment.
