The HiTech Division of New Hampshire Ball Bearings is seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst for our Information Technology department at our manufacturing facility located in Peterborough, NH.
As our Programmer Analyst, you are responsible for designing and implementing multi-tier software using the latest technologies, such as PHP, Python and SQL Server. This position requires working with subject matter experts to analyze business information, understand and document business needs, develop specifications, code, test, deploy to production, document processes and provide user training and instructions, following the fill SDLC methodology.
In this position, you will require:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT or a directly related field, a Master's degree preferred.
- Strong experience with building end-to-4end web applications and web API on the MySql and SQL Server platform.
- An ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows application development and web applications using Javascript, JQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3, XML, JSON, AJAX
You will also have the following skills and abilities:
- A demonstrated ability to recognize business needs, analyze requests, recommend solid technical solutions, and lead in delivering the solution.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and relentless attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts (SME).
Physical requirements include being able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working at a computer.
