Outreach is seeking an experienced and extremely motivated Music Instructor to work in our Adolescent Residential facility. The Music Instructor will be responsible for all aspects of client recreational activities that relate to music and musical instruments. The schedule for this position is Wednesday and Friday 5 pm - 9 pm.
What You Will Do:
- Provide supervised highly structured music related indoor recreational activities to residents. Plan and prepare lessons in relation to resident needs
- Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources
- Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to residents
- Motivate residents and encouraging progress
- Maintain communication with program management by assessing residents abilities, providing feedback and providing any required documentation
- Be responsible for maintaining and securing all music equipment
Who You Are:
- Ability to play one or more musical instruments.
- Experience or training in music therapy.
- Experience in music instruction.
- Experience working with adolescents a plus.

Compensation details: 20-26 Hourly Wage
