Schedule/hours:
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
You will be responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to:
- Support Employee Activity at designated site(s) (65%)
- Address employee questions related to company policies and practices, utilizing HR Shared Services when appropriate
- Submit payroll reimbursements and utilize electronic ticketing system for employee activity and needs
- Coordinate an excellent employee onboarding experience with our training team, delivering HR/benefits orientation and administering new employee check-in process
- Track and order/prepare employee material items (safety shoe vouchers, water bottles, hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts, welcome bags, uniforms, employee gifts, etc.)
- Participate in our employee engagement committee and coordinate related efforts and activities
- Manage filing of employee and candidate records
- Provide back-up to administrative assistant
- Recruiting – hourly/operation teams (20%)
- Coordinate and attend job fairs, high school career days, community events, etc.
- Support job posting, interview, and selection process
- Prepare or request promotional materials for recruiting and branding
- Site Communication (10%)
- Prepare and manage communications in the employee breakrooms
- Prepare and distribute site newsletter
- People Analytics (5%)
- Prepare weekly reporting on key metrics and other reports as requested
OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
- Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
- Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
- Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
- Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers
- Maintain production volume and efficiency
- Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed
OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ year of experience in an office setting, preferably in the field of Human Resources
- Two- or four-year degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent working experience
- Ability to apply HR knowledge / experience across HR policies, programs, processes, and functions
- Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
