The Recovery Research Network (TRRN) in collaboration with Palm Beach Sheriff's Office - Corrections Division (PBSO) and Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network (SEFBHN) is launching a substance use disorder treatment program located within the West Detention Center in Belle Glade, FL for inmates.
The Therapist must be Licensed in Florida with LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW or licensed psychologist and comfortable working within a correctional environment. MCAP and/or registered interns will be considered pending additional experience. The Therapist should have experience providing quality care to patients in need of substance use disorder treatment and a passion to work with this population.
The program utilizes a unique treatment platform designed to drive superior patient outcomes and build an efficient and effective paradigm for treating substance use disorder and reducing recidivism within the criminal justice system (CJS).
The Therapist will report to the Clinical Director.
As part of the interdisciplinary team, the licensed therapist will provide assessment and evaluation services, formulate effective treatment plans and conduct individual and group therapy and case management services.
The licensed Therapist is responsible for ensuring that the needs of the patients are met in accordance with the center's policies and procedures, federal and state regulations and applicable standards of care.
Qualifications:
Current Florida License - Licensed Psychologist, LMHC, LFMT, or LCSW
MCAP and/or registered interns will be considered
Master's or PsyD
2+ years experience, specifically working in addiction/substance abuse and CAP preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills and use of EMR
Ability to pass local and Level II background checks
Ability to pass Palm Beach Sheriff's Office background check
Ability to follow protocols to ensure safety and security within a detention center
Proficiency in English
