Requirements:
The Security Installation & Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of Video Surveillance/Access Control systems, as well as assist in the installation of various low voltage systems such as fire alarm, AV, audio, paging, intercom, and nurse call. The Security Installation & Service Technician is responsible for completing projects in the most efficient and effective manner. All work must meet the highest quality standards set forth by the Company while assuring a professional and safe working environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Responsible for reading and understanding the Systems Integration installation process.
- Must understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Must respond to all customer service-related issues promptly.
- Responsible for accurate service installation tickets, and inventory items.
- Achieve working knowledge of Company software and work within software systems on a day-to-day basis.
- Work in a safe, positive manner showing respect to others and contributing to the team.
- Fully comply with Company and customer safety programs.
- Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and dependability by following instructions and being an active listener.
- Adapts well to changing circumstances or conditions in the field.
- Pursues career development opportunities such as training and certification courses.
- Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance.

COMPETENCIES:
- Prior Video Surveillance/Access Control experience
- Knowledge of PC and IP integration required
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stoop, balance, stand, walk, sit and climb and/or work on a ladder and lift.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate Degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting Video Surveillance/Access Control systems.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday - Friday
