Salary: $80,000-90,000 annually

We are currently seeking an experienced, highly-motivated Director of Accounts Receivable to join our Financial Management and Accounting Team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Yardi and along with ancillary applications
- Provide support to Operations at the Regional and Property level to ensure resident accounts are properly billed (gross rent potential) and that payments are accurately recorded and reconciled timely
- Review and reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all charges and payments are accounted for and properly posted to the general ledger
- Assist Operations with resident accounts receivable questions and/or resolve related issues with accurate corrections
- Monitor trends on accounts receivable inquiries and make recommendations to Management/Training Department when additional training is needed to team members
- Review and process deposit accounting/resident's statement of deposit (SODA)
- Responsible for accounts receivable end-of-month close
- Assist with new property onboarding
- Collaborate with other internal support teams to increase operational efficiency related to accounts receivable while adhering to system internal controls
- Assist with establishing and implementing accounts receivable policies and standard operating procedures
- Maintain systems and processes for the day-to-day accounts receivable functions
- Work closely with the system support team to resolve and/or mitigate system issues
- Perform other additional assignments and/or projects as needed.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient knowledge of multifamily property management industry practices and basic knowledge of accounting principles
- 5+ years of proven working experience
- In-depth knowledge of accounts receivable processes, revenue cycle, and payment posting
- Big picture thinker with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and reconciliation skills
- Highly organized with ability to establish and manage workflow priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to apply industry-standard problem-solving skills to different accounts receivable challenges
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Yardi Voyager
