Requirements:
Core Accountabilities
- Daily supervision of processes and procedures for inventory management and replenishment of received product to shelves
- Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to create, implement and manage plans for ongoing product placement, movement, and zoning
- Nurture team engagement and high performance; provide input to Warehouse Manager regarding associate training, development, and performance reviews
- Strive for continuous improvement, especially in efficiency and accuracy of work performed
- Maintain the highest safety standards for self and team
Qualifications
- At least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in a distribution center/warehouse, but will consider other supervisory or team-lead experience in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to being a strong team member while directly supervising 5-10 associates
- Strong communications skills with a get-it-done attitude; proven ability to foster teamwork, positivity, and flexibility
- A strong desire to provide high levels of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing work environment
- Consistent and reliable attendance. Core hours are 4:00 pm -1:00 am Monday – Friday. Because this is a new role and shift, there may be some flexibility on start and end times. Occasional Saturday work or hours outside of core hours may be required based on business needs
- Experience with Excel preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical/Other Requirements
- Lifting of up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Forklift experience strongly preferred
- Standing, lifting, twisting, bending, walking, and sitting.
- Basic computer proficiency; ability to utilize telephone and scanners
